Position Overview:
The Human Resources Intern will participate in meaningful assignments with our Human Resources department, assisting with daily Human Resources Operations, perform full-cycle recruiting duties, and managing correspondences and confidential filing. The Human Resources Intern will obtain hands-on experience in their field while contributing to company success.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain successful working relationships with the HR team and assist with daily operations.
  • Assist HR Recruiters with performing full cycle recruiting; prepare documentation for new and prospective hires.
  • Review and post job listings on multiple sites and schedule interviews for candidates.
  • Ensure new hire paperwork is completed and signed correctly by the new employee and their manager.
  • Maintain a confidential organized filing system for employee files, correspondence, policies, standards, regulations, and employment applications.
  • Conduct audits of various HR programs and update according to regulations and compliance.
  • Conduct post-employment screenings.
  • Verify I-9 documentation.
  • Be an ambassador of the CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC brand.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail for the process of documenting information.
  • Must be a team player and motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on a new challenge.
